  To truly estimate the scale of the tragedy, passing of time should be reversed back to 2010 when I and my band Raincore were actively rehearsing new songs, our hearts were burning with passion, gormones and ambitions were the driving force so we surely wanted to explode the metal scene in Moldova. Since then we made numerous attempts to do so, but being a poor principled asses in backward third world country means you probably gonna end up in oblivion. Anyways, being the main songwriter in a band, I had the most interest in material being recorded, seen the light of day and hopefully immortalized not only on my main HDD but also on yours :) Time flies and people lose interest in things, so by 2016 we parted ways with the drummer, guitarist, bassist and practically I became a one man band, lately called Demondrive.
  This material is already 9 years old, but as time flies, my taste changed, the time came when I was FINALLY able to record the whole thing by myself, I decided to “upgrade” it by relying on today’s trends in metal music. You’ll probably hear where my inspirations came from, it varies from melodic metalcore elements to melodic death metal blast beat parts with guitar harmonies and stuff, slightly seasoned with tasty progressive elements.
  Artwork was made by Vini Hummel, based on lyrics (yep, on instrumental album, ha) composed by our former vocalist Sergei Cebotari for the song “Death Paint”, artistically translated into English by my good friend Alexandr Polonnicov. Hopefully one day Sergei would have enough time and resources to lay down some killer vocal tracks on this record. So, I’m here to spoiler the horror story, I guess: a mad painter, obsessed by delusion of grandeur commits justice over guilties, using their blood for the next painting “siuJette”. He is an experienced bounty hunter, who easily goes away from police prosecution … till the last track, we find him being hunted by his own’s victim. Painter's soul passes away, sliding down into eternity, trying to hold the canvas with bloody hands... I probably got carried away, but thanks to Vini this idea was reworked in his very own, brilliant and abstract way.
